Rosie’s Richmond and Delegate Mike Jones Team Up for “The Giveback: Turkey Giveaway & Resource Fair”

RICHMOND, VA., (November 23, 2024)  Rosie’s Gaming Emporium Richmond partnered with Del. Mike Jones (77th District) to make the holiday season a little brighter for South Richmond residents. On Saturday, November 23, leadership from Rosie’s Richmond and its parent company, Churchill Downs Incorporated, helped Del. Jones distribute 2,000 turkeys to Richmonders during the delegate’s 6th annual turkey giveaway and resource fair at River City Middle School. 

Rosie’s Gaming Emporiums in Richmond and around the state contribute to local organizations and causes through the “Rosie’s Gives Back” program which has made $2.5 million in direct donations, $195,000+ in-kind contributions, and donated more than 2,500 hours of volunteer service. The program supports a range of nonprofits and causes around Virginia including groups providing services in education, workforce development, and support for veterans and law enforcement.
