Garth Williams Promoted to General Manager of Derby City Gaming
LOUISVILLE, KY., (April 21, 2022) – Churchill Downs Incorporated (“CDI” or the “Company”) (Nasdaq: CHDN) announced today that Garth Williams has been promoted to General Manager where he will oversee Derby City Gaming (“DCG” or the “Property”) operations in Louisville, Kentucky. Williams brings over 18 years of hospitality and gaming experience to this role, having most recently served as Senior Director of Finance at the Property.
Prior to joining the DCG team in 2019, Williams worked at CDI’s Calder Casino in Miami Gardens, Florida, as Director of Finance. Additional professional experience includes finance roles for MGM Springfield and The Isle Casino & Racing at Pompano Park and global casino operations management for Carnival Corporation & PLC. He holds a joint Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the University of Technology & the University of the West Indies in Mona, Jamaica, and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University.

Williams’s promotion is effective immediately.
