Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel has entered the season of giving by presenting six non-profit organizations in and around Christian County with $5,000 checks. Representatives from Sanctuary Inc., Fort Care, Toys for Tots, Urban Ministries, The USO, and New Vocations were all welcomed with a small reception and check presentation.

Churchill Downs Incorporated (Nasdaq: CHDN, “CDI,” “Churchill Downs” or the “Company”) announced today approval from the Calvert City Planning and Zoning Board to develop Marshall Yards Racing & Gaming (“Marshall Yards” or the “Property”). CDI’s eighth historical horse racing entertainment venue in Kentucky is expected to open in early 2026 and will be located on an approximately 4.5-acre site at the intersection of I-69 and I-24 in the Calvert City area. Marshall Yards will feature up to 240 state-of-the-art historical racing machines (“HRMs”), a sports bar and a retail sportsbook, simulcast wagering and food and beverage offerings. The projected investment for the development is $40 to $50 million and it will operate as an annex of Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel.

Rosie’s Gaming Emporium Richmond partnered with Del. Mike Jones (77th District) to make the holiday season a little brighter for South Richmond residents. On Saturday, November 23, leadership from Rosie’s Richmond and its parent company, Churchill Downs Incorporated, helped Del. Jones distribute 2,000 turkeys to Richmonders during the delegate’s 6th annual turkey giveaway and resource fair at River City Middle School.

On Friday, November 22, employees of Churchill Downs Incorporated (CDI) participated in a Thanksgiving food drive to 'Fill the Buss' which benefitted The Hope Buss. Team members brought in food and meal prep supplies including cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, pans, plasticware and more. The items will be used to help The Hope Buss serve a Thanksgiving meal to those in need.
