“Year after year I am blown away by the support from our community for these local organizations and this year I am reminded yet again why this day is so important,” Ron Gallo, President & CEO of the Community Foundation of Louisville, said. “It’s a testament to the power of our community here in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. Thank you to our generous donors, partners and organizations for utilizing this day to give back to those who are changing lives in our community.”
Nearly 600 organizations participated and each received a $150 cash prize thanks to this year’s Premier Prize Partner, the Sam Swope Family. Many of the organizations also accessed hundreds of thousands of additional dollars in cash prizes thanks to prize pool partners including, Churchill Downs, Derby City Gaming, Caesars Foundation of Floyd County, Owsley Brown II Family Foundation, and more.
