William “Bill” C. Carstanjen was named Churchill Downs Incorporated’s twelfth Chief Executive Officer in August 2014 and appointed to the Board of Directors in July 2015. He served as CDI’s President and Chief Operating Officer (2011-2014), Chief Operating Officer (2009-2011) and Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Development Officer (2005-2009). Prior to joining CDI in July 2005, he served as an executive with General Electric Company. He began his career as an attorney with Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP in New York City, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and corporate governance. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his leadership role at CDI. Throughout his tenure, he has led CDI’s diversification strategy into online wagering and regional casino gaming, as well as led the growth of the Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby events. He is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, and received a law degree from Columbia University in New York. He is also a Director of Glenview Trust Company.

William “Bill” E. Mudd was named President and Chief Operating Officer of Churchill Downs Incorporated in September 2015. He began his career at General Electric, where he held several positions, including CFO of Supply Chain, IT and Technology Finance for GE’s Consumer and Industrial Europe, Middle East and Africa Division, which allowed him to live in Budapest, Hungary. He joined CDI in 2007 as the company’s Executive Vice President and CFO until he was promoted to the role of President and CFO in 2014 where he focused on operating and growing the company’s casinos and racing properties, including the Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby and its TwinSpires business. In his prior role as CFO, he was responsible for all of CDI’s financial activities, including capital management, financial reporting, treasury, investor relations, financial planning and analysis, financial compliance, enterprise risk management and, since 2011, business development activities. He served as a captain in the United States Army Reserves for 14 year and has a degree in mathematics and actuarial science from Bellarmine University. He also serves as the Chair of the Board of Trustees for Bellarmine University.

Marcia A. Dall, CPA was named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Churchill Downs Incorporated in October 2015, bringing a broad business background as CFO of a large publicly traded company, strong leadership skills and over 30 years of domestic and international financial experience to her role. As CFO, Ms. Dall is responsible for capital management, financial reporting, treasury, investor relations, financial planning and analysis, financial compliance and enterprise risk management. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting at Indiana University and Masters of Management from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg School of Management.

Maureen Adams has over 25 years of gaming experience and her career with CDI spans eight years including time as President of Calder Casino in Miami Gardens, Florida. Her professional career includes 15 years with Caesars Entertainment where she held a variety of senior positions in Finance, Marketing/Sales and Operations. In her current role as Executive Vice President of Gaming Operations, she is responsible for gaming operations across the entire enterprise. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from Richard Stockton University, an MBA from Rutgers University and has earned an International General Management Certification from Harvard Business School. Adams serves on the Norton Healthcare Foundation Board of Directors.

Bradley “Brad” Blackwell joined the team at Churchill Downs Incorporated in 2005 and has held numerous roles of increasing responsibility, including Corporate Counsel, Vice President, Legal & Regulatory Affairs for TwinSpires, Vice President, Legal and Vice President, Operations for CDI. Prior to joining CDI, Blackwell was Assistant General Counsel and Secretary for Michaels Stores, Inc. in Irving, Texas. Blackwell is a 1994 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a B.S. in Accounting. He received his J.D. from the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville in 1998. Blackwell serves on the Board of Directors for the Muhammad Ali Center.
