Churchill Downs Incorporated Employees ‘Fill the Buss” with a Thanksgiving Food Drive for The Hope Buss
LOUISVILLE, KY., (November 25, 2024) – On Friday, November 22, employees of Churchill Downs Incorporated (CDI) participated in a Thanksgiving food drive to ‘Fill the Buss’ which benefitted The Hope Buss. Team members brought in food and meal prep supplies including cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, pans, plasticware and more. The items will be used to help The Hope Buss serve a Thanksgiving meal to those in need.
“It’s such a privilege for CDI to partner with The Hope Buss on a project like this. Everyone deserves to celebrate the Holidays, and The Hope Buss is making those celebrations possible for so many people across our city” said Mark Whitten, Director of Community Relations for CDI. “As Thanksgiving approaches, this is also a great opportunity for our team members to give back, and has served as a great reminder of the true spirit of the season.”
