Derby City Gaming Team Members Celebrate 2024 Pride Festivals

LOUISVILLE, KY., (September 14, 2024) – Derby City Gaming Hotel & Downtown team members came together this summer to celebrate pride at the Kentuckiana Pride Festival on June 15. Members of Derby City Gaming’s team gathered on Bardstown Road to celebrate and participate in the annual KPF Parade. Team members lined up on a float that traveled the length of the parade route between Longest Avenue and Grinstead Drive, and were able to enjoy the festivities from above. One of the highlights of the festival was a smash-hit performance from breakout pop star Chappell Roan.

To close out the summer, DCG team members gathered again in support of the Louisville Pride Festival on September 14. Team members handed out free play vouchers, signed up new members and encouraged festival attendees to play DCG Downtown’s “Plinko” game for a chance to win free play or DCG merchandise. 16 DCG team members volunteered to staff the DCG booth and celebrate the festival theme together– Homecoming, a place where everyone belongs.

The Kentuckiana Pride Festival’s mission is to promote social, economic, and health equity of Kentuckiana’s sexual and gender minorities through advocating pride, celebrating achievements, and educating leaders.
