Ellis Park Racing & Gaming Introduces Their New Mascot Jackpot as Part of Annual Mascot Mania

HENDERSON, KY., (July 13, 2024) – For several years, local community mascots have come together at Ellis Park Racing & Gaming (“Ellis Park”) in friendly competition for a day of races for Mascot Mania. But this year, Ellis Park got to debut a mascot of their very own, Jackpot. Jackpot joined in the festivities this year squaring off against Evansville Otters and Springs Valley Community Schools. Along with the annual races, as part of Jackpot’s welcome party, team members dressed up in inflatable costumes and raced while the mascots visited with fans. Jackpot’s new role will continue as he has plans to hit the road on a community outreach tour.

But don’t worry, family fun at Ellis Park doesn’t end there – family events continue through the end of the summer, including Corgi & Weiner Dog Racing (July 20 and Aug. 17), Teacher Appreciation Day (July 29) and Family Fun Day (Aug. 24). Dollar Days are back each Sunday throughout the season featuring discounted hot dogs, soft drinks and beer.
